The Perry Public Library is beginning a project to replace and repair the front steps, porch and walkway on the front of the building. The stairs will be replaced with the same style stairs, though the planter in the middle will be removed and the stairs will run the entire width of the entrance again. The front walkway will be replaced with small pave stones, some of which are available to be engraved with names in honor of people or local business and organizations.
These documents below show the proposed project.
This project is funded partially through a grant from New York State, and partially through local donations. The stones on the walkway that can be purchased will help to fund the project. Stones are 8×8 inches and naming rights cost $250 for families or $500 for businesses and organizations. If you would like to inquire about purchasing these naming rights, please call the library 237-2243 or email perrylibrarydirector@owwl.org
Inscriptions will be 3 or 4 lines with 16 characters a line.
Named stones will look similar too, but not exactly, like the image below.
